School Supplies Wars, BlameShift and Fired Up!

Basically, yesterday (February 20th, 2009) was one of the best days. First off, there was hardly any drama. That was fun :] And during English, me and a friend had a highlighter fight. It started with pencil tug-of-war, which turned into a highlighter tug-of-war. Somehow, I managed to draw a miniscule line on my friend's thumb, so he ended up drawing all over me, while the teacher wasn't looking. It turned into a full-fledged fight and gave me something to do for the entire English period. Fun, right?

After school, I got to go to the mall to see BlameShift (an awesome-o band, unknown, something you should listen to). Well I was a little late but nothing could rain on my parade. When I got there, Hot Topic was crowded so I had to push through to get to my friend and we started listenin'. BlameShift was amazing live (I'll take this time to say that this was my first real show), and I've got recordings. They even played a new song that's not even titled!

The show ended after a few more songs, and then it was time to meet the band and get autographs and junk. Before I went to the show, I made a custom-made BlameShift tank top, and that got the band's attention. I took a bunch of pictures with Jenny, one with Joe, one with James, and one with Tim. I would've gotten my shirt and/or camera case signed if we didn't have to leave for the movies. Basically, this band was super down to Earth and they were so nice to the fans!

Movies time! So since I'm only 13, my friend was 14, and my other was 15 (hah, 13, 14, 15!) we couldn't get into Friday the 13th by ourselves. So we went off to another movie theater and watched Fired Up! instead. Okay, it wasn't the best movie but it was pretty funny. A bit perverted, but that can be funny. Oh and the friend I had the highlight fight with? This movie was basically made for him, as he's a bit of a perv.

So yeah. The first time I've had this much fun in one day. And now today, I'm just hanging out until later at night. Then I go to a family friend's house for a farewell party to the father of that family (he's leaving for London on Monday, the rest of them are going at the end of the school year). It's a bit sad that they're leaving, but we have some time until school's over, right?

Did you guys have fun? Tell me in a comment :]

    Wow it's been forever.

Whoa, it really has been forever since I've posted on this. I feel kinda weird now that I'm starting to post again. Wanna hear my lame excuses? I'm sure you do. If you don't scroll through them or whatever else you can think of.

    1. I have no time.

You're all probably going What? She's in 8th grade, how can she have no time? Well I actually don't have much time. Main activities that really take away my time in this life are... music (I have piano once a week and I play in two different bands), writing (I got to do it!), role-playing (yes, I must do it, because it helps with writer's block), school, and some figure skating (all though I haven't done it in a while).

    2. I have nothing to talk about.

Lately my life has been slow and boring. Do you really want to read blog post upon blog post about pointless days that go by? No I bet you don't.

So what got me back into blogging? I guess I just needed to write some more about my life and all. Plus, today was pretty crappy. For the most part, it was fine and I was pretty happy. But then later on, right before a basketball game, we had to shoot around and just practice. During this, me and a sort of friend, got into this not serious argument about our music opinions. I started telling her that her taste in music (ie: Jonas Brothers, Jordan Pruitt, Miley Cyrus, etc.) was pretty bad (no offense to anyone who likes any of those artists). She then went on to tell me that my music is all 'emo' and all about 'cutting your wrists'. The girl had the nerve to joke around about something so serious! My best friend came into the picture and she told off this girl for being so close-minded and for joking around about something that's really serious and deserves help. It ended up as both of us being pissed at this girl for doing this type of thing. Honestly.

The bright side is that this is the first time in a while that me and my best friend were on the same side (we're usually arguing with each other about stupid stuff). That's a pretty good thing right?

Well anyways, I'll stop whining. Thanks for reading (if anybody did).
